Del 23 de agosto al 3 de septiembre, se llevó adelante una nueva edición de El Tango BA Festival y Mundial. El certamen que se desarrolla en Buenos Aires desde 2003 contó con la participación de 650 parejas de 35 países distintos.
Entre los participantes se destacó la presencia de la bailarina firmatense Florencia Marioni que compitió junto al bailarín cordobés Julio Saavedra, alcanzando las semifinales en la categoría pista donde fueron 450 las parejas.
En comunicación con El Correo, la representante local contó cómo se dio la posibilidad de ser parte por segunda vez en su carrera artística del Mundial de Tango, y manifestó las sensaciones tras quedar entre las mejores sesenta parejas de la competencia.
“La primera vez que competí fue en el 2019. Fue con un amigo que dijo vamos a hacer la experiencia. Nos juntamos un poquito antes y fuimos, entonces no había tanta expectativa, porque fue como mucho más improvisado. Igualmente nos fue muy bien, pero no llegamos a semifinales”, recordó Florencia.
“Este año me junté con un compañero que es de Córdoba, pero que está hace bastante tiempo afuera y en febrero nos habían dicho de hacer un show juntos. Lo hicimos, nos sentimos muy cómodos y me dice me vuelvo para el Mundial”, confesó la bailarina local, en relación a cómo se gestó su participación junto a Julio Saavedra.
“Fue muy bueno el logro, nos sentimos re bien, quedamos dentro de las 60 mejores parejas”, comentó la artista firmatense de amplia trayectoria no solo en el país sino también a nivel internacional.
“Ya participar fue muy lindo. Luego, ir pasando las rondas también, y encontrarte con el cariño de tus seres queridos, colegas y de amigos, ahí todos apoyándote para dar lo mejor de cada uno, la verdad fue hermoso”, expresó Marioni, respecto a lo vivido en los últimos días en el reconocido certamen que se llevó adelante en la Usina del Arte (hasta las semifinales) y en el Obelisco (las finales).
A DÍAS DE UNA NUEVA GIRA POR EUROPA
Son días movidos para la flamante semifinalista del Mundial de Tango ya que en los próximos días vivirá una nueva experiencia en el exterior. “El 14 de septiembre me voy de gira, dos meses a Europa”, anticipó en conversación con El Correo.
“Ya tenía armadas muchas de las fechas, voy a hacer base en Lyon (Francia), que nunca estuve. Llego por intermedio de un organizador de Italia con el cual trabajé anteriormente, y lo habíamos organizado antes del Mundial”, relató Marioni, que puso en valor su participación en la competencia de Buenos Aires, ya que se le abrieron más puertas de cara a la gira europea.
“Luego de la presentación del Mundial y de llegar a estas instancias, surgieron otros trabajos que haremos con Julio”, explicó, y detalló que buscarán organizar presentaciones “en distintos países, como Suiza, Portugal y Escocia”.
Cabe recordar que, Florencia comenzó con su pasión en el taller de tango de la Escuela de Comercio de Firmat. En Rosario fue adquiriendo perfeccionamiento. Más tarde dio clases durante tres años en Italia, bailó en Alemania, España y Estados Unidos.
Desde hace varios años vive en Buenos Aires donde se dedica de lleno a su carrera como bailarina profesional dando clases y forma parte del equipo artístico del Complejo Belgrano realizando shows y organizando diferentes eventos vinculados al tango.
